NAV-TRACKER 1.0 - The NAV-TRACKER 1.0 is the most basic version of the system available. This system was originally created at the request of the insurance companies as a low cost system for their customers. This system uses the same technology and website as all of the other versions of the NAV-TRACKER, but is designed to be hidden and not accessible onboard the vessel. The system will send multiple daily position reports, at the interval selected by the user. The interval range is between once every 5 minutes to once every 24 hours, and can be updated on the website at anytime.

Control of the NAV-TRACKER 1.0 is entirely internet based. The system simply needs to be wired to 12 or 24 volts and it will report at whatever intervals the customer chooses. Arming and disarming of the system is all controlled from the website.

The NAV-TRACKER 1.0 is also very popular for fleets of either commercial or charter vessels. This unit can be covertly installed and forgotten, allowing owners to keep track of their own vessel at all times. Complete control of fleets of vessels is available online including the ability to view the entire fleet from one login. It is also possible to display the entire fleet on Google Earth and watch the positions update on GE as they come in.

Covert Installation- An added feature that adds to the success of the NAV-TRACKER is its ability to transmit through a ½ inch of solid fiberglass. This allows the NAV-TRACKER to be hidden onboard and not alert thieves to its presence.

picturegallery105837.tmp/NT.jpgNAV-TRACKER 2.0-  The NAV-TRACKER 2.0 is the most popular version of the system and adds the ability to locally arm & disarm the system and incorporate a wide range of security & monitoring sensors. This is the system that has been responsible for most of the recent recoveries. The system will send multiple daily position reports, at the interval selected by the user. The interval range is between once every 5 minutes to once every 24 hours, and can be updated on the website at anytime.

The advantages of this system are in the additional accessories that can be added. The most popular sensor is the infrared beam sensor. When this sensor is armed an invisible IR beam is sent between two ‘fish eyes’. In the event the beam is broken, the NAV-TRACKER will send out emails & text messages to notify recipients that the system is ‘in alarm’ along with the vessels position and other information.

Actual ‘In Alarm’ Message from NAV-TRACKER 2.0:
User: Paradox Marine
Asset: M/Y Island Time
Fleet: ETI
Date Time: 2006-07-25 15:06:28 (EDT)
Event: In Alarm;
Location: 26.05767,-80.13033
(0.75 mi NE of Hollywood, FL (33019)
Speed/heading: 9.2 Knots, 144 Deg
Google Earth Map: [KML]
This email is for notification only. Please DO NOT reply to this email.

There is also an optional siren that can be tied into the system and set to go off when the security sensors are breached. There are two schools of thought on this as some customers prefer the criminals not know that there presence has been detected to give time for a response by law enforcement: however, other customers want to scare the criminals away to find another, easier, target to try and steal. Either way the system has proven instrumental saving vessels under each circumstance.

There are several other sensors that can be tied into the NAV-TRACKER 2.0 including, but not limited to:
• Door contacts
• Motion detectors
• Deck pressure sensors
• Canvas snap sensors
• Outboard engine detachment sensors
• High water sensors

• Low voltage sensors
• Or any normally open sensing device

It should be noted under the current configuration of the NAV-TRACKER 2.0 the system will give a general ‘in alarm’ notification when any one of the sensors are tripped.

picturegallery105837.tmp/Marine_Magellan.jpgNAV-TRACKER MG - The MG NAV-TRACKER has all of the same tracking features as the other versions, but adds wireless transmitters into the control unit that communicate with any of the Marine Magellan systems. The MG NAV-TRACKER cannot be armed or disarmed from the website like the other versions, but rather is armed and disarmed by the Marine Magellan. This gives the unit the ability to be controlled via a cell phone.

The added benefit of the MG NAV-TRACKER to a Marine Magellan system is that it will report when the Marine Magellan goes into alarm via Inmarsat. This is helpful in situations where the vessel is out of range of the GSM cellular networks. The MG NAV-TRACKER can be part of any Marine Magellan system when it is originally installed or added at anytime.Nav-Tracker can also function as an anchor drag alarm and it will notify you via alarm violation, if your set geo-fence is breached by your boat leaving the circle.
